You’ve come to the Big Easy to see the French Quarter, Bourbon St., the French Market, Jackson Square, and the lovely people right? Well all these New Orleans attractions have their flare and their style but they don’t have a rugged real life man versus wild experience! Airboat Adventures offers REAL swamp tours with REAL alligators and a REAL walk on the wild side. If you’re planning a trip to New Orleans, this is definitely a slice worth checking out.
Airboat Adventures has it all: boats to fit from six to eight passengers all the way to fifteen to twenty seven passengers, great captains, and 20,000 acres of cypress swamp to travel through! This isn’t just a peek behind the curtain these tours are a full on head under the water educational feel the wild experience you’re sure to enjoy.
The captains of these tours, while loving having the ability to give some history about the area and give the tours as a whole, support safety in all realms so pregnant women, children under five years old, and anyone with heart or back problems are not allowed to ride. But don’t let that stop you, you can still bring your whole clan down and see the great albino alligators they have and just enjoy the scene! Airboat Adventures is the best of the best and will come pick you up from any downtown hotel as they are only about thirty minutes outside of the French Quarter so when you plan your trip you can get the best of both worlds: your infamous New Orleans attractions and a great swamp tour for a more dangerous piece of southern Louisiana.
